You can now use your iPhone to find your lost Siri Remote in tvOS 17 and iOS 17

Yesterday, Apple released new firmware for the second and third generation Siri Remotes, and the update appears to include a tvOS 17 feature that allows iPhones to locate a lost Apple TV remote.


With the new firmware tvOS 17 and iOS 17, if ‌Siri‌ The remote control gets lost, ‌Apple TV‌ Remote control is available in Control Center on ‌iPhone‌ can be used to find a missing remote control.

Users will see a “Locator”-like interface that guides them to the remote control, with the on-screen circle increasing in size to guide them in the right direction.

Find your remote through Control Center thanks to deeper integration between ‌iPhone‌ and iPad with tvOS 17 and ‌iOS 17‌ updates. Search ‌Siri‌ Remote Control is a feature only available on ‌Apple TV‌ 4K models released in 2021 and 2022.
