The Belkin iPhone The MagSafe mount for Mac laptops is available from Apple for $30, though it's not ordered until December and is hard to come by. This is currently the only official Continuity camera mount, although you can find a few fakes and other versions on Amazon.
The Belkin mount is primarily attached to the iPhone with MagSafe, and then unfold the stand with the ledge at the back. The stand fits right over the edge of a Mac laptop like MacBook Pro or MacBook Air and places the iPhone in an ideal position for shooting video.
You can use the mount in landscape or portrait orientation, and the background behind you will be slightly less. The camera will automatically activate when your iPhone connected to your Mac and an application such as FaceTime is open.
This is a very simple accessory, probably overpriced, but it works well. iPhone the camera is much better than a Mac, even Apple's latest Macs, so it's worth it if you do a lot of video calling.
The Continuity Camera has additional features like Center Stage support to keep you stay aware of the frame if you're moving, portrait mode to blur the background, studio light to focus the light on you, and a desktop that shows what's on your desktop using the ultra-wide camera.
You can also use the mount Belkin as a stand for iPhone when not connected to a Mac, and also serves as an alternative to PopSocket.
