Now, Twitter has apparently dropped the $8/month Twitter Blue subscription, and has also revived the “official” tag that Elon Musk created and then killed within hours.
Neither Twitter nor Elon Musk announced the end of Twitter Blue or commented, other than a cryptic tweet about November 11, 2022, which was “Perfect day!” Twitter Blue was an existing subscription service that Musk expanded on November 10, 2022. During the 24 hours of its existence, anyone could receive one of Twitter's “Verified” marks for the price of a subscription.
