DJI Mini 3 is the latest addition to the DJI mini range of compact and lightweight drones that supports 4K HDR.
DJI specifically designed the Mini 3 to weigh less than 249 grams, but its size doesn't match its capabilities. The company says the light weight meets drone requirements in many parts of the world, where drones weighing less than 250g allow users to fly in accordance with regional requirements.
It features a 1/1.3-inch sensor and f/1.7 aperture, allowing you to capture 4K HDR video at 30fps as well as 12MP photos day and night. The DJI O2 digital video transmission can transmit 720p/30fps live broadcast up to 10 kilometers away.
DJI Mini 3 Features
DJI says it has a 4-inch -1 Pixel , which can produce photos ranging from 12MP to 48MP with individual pixels up to 2.4m, similar to Apple's “quad pixel” technology used in the iPhone 14 Pro models.
DJI Mini 3 can shoot videos for social media
It has a “True Vertical Shooting” feature that can rotate the camera 90 degrees to create a vertical video , which look good on certain social media platforms. The drone features QuickShots, a set of pre-programmed flight and shooting paths for shooting video in landscape and vertical modes.
- Drone: The aircraft flies back and up while the camera is fixed on the object. Spiral: The plane flies up and circles around the object.
- Rocket: The plane flies up, the camera is pointing down.
- Circle >: The aircraft circles the object.
- Boomerang: The aircraft flies around the object in an oval path, rising on departure and descending on return.

The Intelligent Flight Battery provides a maximum flight time of up to 38 minutes, and users can extend the flight time up to 51 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, sold separately in some countries.

DJI Mini 3 Drone is available now for $559. On Amazon, the company is offering an $858 kit that includes a Mini 3, a screwdriver, spare propellers and propellers, gimbal protection, a shoulder bag, charging cables, a charging hub, and three Intelligent Flight Batteries.
