Terribly fast

Apple announces Scary Fast Mac event, iOS 17.1 releases, prices for Apple services increase, and more on the AppleInsider Podcast.
Apple's surprise event, dubbed “Scarily Fast,” will take place on Monday. This is clearly a Mac launch event, but rumors and product release dates are all over the place, making this event difficult to predict.
Apple released iOS 17.1 to the general public on Wednesday, which includes several new features. Your hosts discuss some of the bugs they've encountered and Apple's move from likes to favorites in Apple Music.
Notably, Double Tap is now available on Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 with watchOS 10.1. It's still unclear how useful this feature is, but it works as expected.
In addition, prices for Apple One have increased along with price increases for Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple News+. Wesley and Stephen prove why Apple One Premier is still a great value, especially in a world filled with rising prices for competing services.
