Samsung's new 27-inch ViewFinity S9 5K display received its first discount today and is now available for$1,299.99down from $1,599.99. This discount is available on Samsung's website and Amazon for Prime Day, and it's the first major deal we've seen on this monitor since it launched in August.

The ViewFinity S9 is a 27-inch display with Thunderbolt 4 and three USB ports. C and Mini DisplayPort, plus 90W of power for machines connected via Thunderbolt 4. The detachable 4K SlimFit webcam supports tilt adjustment as well as automatic framing of objects in the frame, similar to Apple's Center Stage feature. Also included are built-in speakers with Adaptive Sound+ to automatically adjust noise levels.
