Apple has begun hiring in Malaysia, its first retail presence in the country.

The move will expand its presence in Southeast Asia, as the company already has stores in Thailand and Singapore. According to Bloomberg, Apple recently posted job listings in Malaysia.

Apple is looking for store managers, technicians, support staff, enterprise salespeople, and operations experts. Also, the job listings suggest that the jobs will be at Apple retail stores and not at third-party resellers.

The list does not indicate where the first store in Malaysia will be. Apple may launch in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Apple currently has over 500 retail stores worldwide. The first Apple Stores opened in 2001 and changed the consumer electronics retail business forever.
