Practice: Nomad's "High Volta" Sports Band Gives Your Apple Watch The Spark It Needs

Nomad has unveiled a vibrant new color for its popular Apple Watch sports band. Limited Edition “High Volta” offers a bright pop, especially in the middle of winter. Read on to get to know the new band for Apple Watch.

I tested the limited edition High Volta Nomad Sport band Band over the past couple of weeks with my Apple Watch Ultra. It has the same great design and features as the existing Sport Band but comes in a bold colorway.

I like that the pill-shaped pin with the Nomad design provides a more secure fit than the ball-shaped pin that Apple uses for its sports band. The Nomad sports strap also provides full adjustment.

The vents definitely improve airflow for a more breathable experience compared to Apple's pre-flat Sport Band design – and many others. And it's a really comfortable band for everyday wear.

I’ve really enjoyed the bright fluorescent fizz of the color, that High Volta brings to my wrist. I think they look great with the Apple Watch Ultra, and also match any other Apple Watch finish.

One thing to note about the Apple Watch Ultra, even though it fits perfectly with the latest Apple Watch, when the Nomad Sport Band is installed, there is a slight change in tolerance at the junction of the band.

For an easy fix, you can simply press your finger on the middle black pill-shaped pin. on the edge of the Sport Band when you insert it into the Ultra (this won't be a problem for other Apple Watch models).
