Apple has shared a trailer for its new 10-episode dystopian drama The Bunker, based on Hugh Howey's hit series about post-apocalyptic science. fantasy novels.
Set in a shattered and toxic future, “The Bunker” drama explores a society living in a gigantic underground bunker hundreds of stories deep.
According to Apple TV+, Bunker is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth. They live in a bunker, a mile-deep house that protects them from the outside world. After his sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and the residents die, engineer Juliet uncovers shocking secrets and the truth about their home.
Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Mission: Impossible) will star as Juliet. Rapper and actor Common (“Chi”) will play Sims, the head of the local judicial security team.
Harriet Walter (“Descendants”), Chinaza Uche (“Dickinson”), Avi Nash (“The Walking Dead”), David Oyelowo (“Selma”), Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation”) , and Tim Robbins (“Mystic River”) also starred in the series.
Apple signed an order for the series in May 2021, when the project was originally called Wool.
