Microsoft is bringing SwiftKey back to iOS and announcing new features coming soon that will close the app and delist it from the platform.
In September, Microsoft announced that SwiftKey for iOS was being closed and removed from the App Store for no clear reason. SwiftKey has been a popular alternative to Apple's standard iOS keyboard among iPhone users, to the disappointment of many. Now, a few weeks later, Microsoft is announcing that customer feedback is bringing the app back to the App Store.
“Based on customer feedback, SwiftKey iOS has been re-listed by Apple &zwnj. “App Store,” Microsoft spokeswoman Caitlin Rawlston told The Verge. The news was also shared on Twitter, where a Microsoft employee teased users to “stay up to date” on what's in store for the app.
