The latest issue involves the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. According to an internal service note sent to authorized service providers seen by MacRumors, customers are reporting flickering displays and issues that turn pink on these new devices . .
The issue occurs in all current public versions of watchOS 10, but it is unknown if there is a fix in watchOS 10.1. Users affected by this issue are advised to regularly update their devices and disable the always-on setting if necessary.
To turn off Always-On Display on Apple Watch, go to the Apple Watch app on iPhone or the Settings app on Apple Watch, select Display & Brightness, then Always On.
Apple has not publicly addressed the issue or said when a fix is expected. The watchOS 10.1 update is due out around October 24 and may fix the problem.
