Key employees of the Apple search engine leave to return to Google

Four years after Apple acquired Laserlike to improve its web search technology, its founders quit to return to Google.Before Laserlike was created in 2015, Anand Shukla, Srinivasan Venkatachari and Steven Baker were Google employees. Their work at Apple is one of the reasons why companies predict launching their own search engine, equivalent to Google's search engine. Apple acquired Laserlike in 2018, although the deal was not announced until the following year. As part of the acquisition, there were three of the company's founders, and they eventually led Apple's search team of 200 people.
