iOS 16.3.1 is now available for iPhone users, here's what's new

Today, iOS 16.3.1 is rolling out to iPhone users alongside iPadOS 16.3.1 for iPad. These updates include iCloud performance fixes, Siri and Find My optimizations, and crash detection optimizations for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models. See the full release notes below.

You can update your iPhone to iOS 16.3.1 by going to the Settings app, selecting General , and then selecting Software Update. The build number for today's update is 20D67. It's available for any iPhone that supports iOS 16, including iPhone 8 and later.

“This update contains important bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone,” Apple says.

Here are the full release notes for iOS 16.3.1:

  • iCloud settings may not respond or display correctly if apps use iCloud
  • Siri requests for Find My may not work.
  • Improve crash detection on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.

In addition to iOS 16.3.1, Apple is also releasing the following updates . for other platforms today:

  • HomePod software version 16.3.2
  • iPadOS 16.3.1
  • tvOS 16.3.2
  • watchOS 9.3.1
  • macOS Ventura 13.2.1
