Hulu is one of many streaming service choices and the primary way to access content from networks such as Fox and Disney — here is how you can stream Hulu on your Mac.
Launched in 2007, Hulu is a major player on the streaming platform. It offers a wide range of content and can be bundled with other services like Disney+ and ESPN+, making it an attractive streaming option.
Hulu boasts several major content libraries, including those of 20th Century Studios, Searchline Pictures, ABC, Freeform, A&E, and FX Network. It also has its own original Hulu programming.
Streaming Hulu is also easy to do and only takes a few minutes to set up.
How much does Hulu cost?
Before streaming Hulu, you need to chain subscription.
Like most streaming services, Hulu has several levels that users can choose from. Current Hulu subscription plans include the following:
- Hulu (with ads): $7.99/month or $79.99/year.
- Hulu (without ads): $14.99/month
- Hulu (with ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (with ads), and ESPN+ (with ads): $69 .99 per month
- Hulu (no ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (no ads) and ESPN+ (with ads): $75.99 per month
Additionally, if eligible, students can subscribe to Hulu's basic ad-supported plan for $1.99 per month.
How to watch Hulu on macOS
< p >To watch Hulu on your Mac, you have several options. You can easily do this through your browser of choice. Hulu supports all major browsers, but we recommend using Safari.
- Open your browser.
- Visit the Hulu website.
- Click Sign In in the upper right corner.
- After logging in search the system to find a show you'd like to watch
Hulu does not currently have a dedicated app for macOS. However, if you want to use the app, there is a third party app called Clicker that you can download and use to watch Hulu.
