Not only does Spotify have a year-end feature, but so does Apple Music! Here's how to get your Apple Music Replay playlist today.
Spotify has a unique Spotify Wrapped feature that shows you your top artists, songs and genres of the year. It's a trendy feature shared on all social media at the end of each year, but Apple Music fans shouldn't miss it. In fact, the 2022 Replay playlist is already available.
The Apple Music Replay feature is not as deep as Spotify Wrapped, but offers interesting statistics and specialized playlists. Statistics include the number of hours of listening to music for the entire year, the number of artists listened to and the top performers with the number of hours of listening to each of them.
Here's how to get your Apple Music Replay stats and playlist:
- Go to music.apple.com/replay in your desktop class browser
- Sign in your Apple Music account
- Get stats for sharing
- Scroll down to find a special playlist
Clicking on the link above will open the Music app on iOS/iPadOS devices. While this will give you the playlist you want, you won't see yearly numbers here. Be sure to visit the Replay website in its entirety through a desktop browser.
A special playlist is created every year, starting a few weeks after the new year, and then automatically updated every week until the end of the year. These playlists are automatically generated for each year of your Apple Music — back in 2015 when the service was launched.
The Apple Music Replay playlist will show you the top 100 songs based on what you listened to the most. Plus, since there's a playlist for each year, you'll be able to see how your musical tastes have changed over time.
Visit the Apple Music Replay website anytime to get your stats and playlists. The 2022 Replay playlist is now live and updated with new songs every Sunday until the end of the year. Detailed statistics will be available on the Replay website at a later date.
