How to check for free carrier benefits on your iPhone

Some carriers offer special privileges

US carriers are offering free credits for choosing them as a wireless service provider. Here's how to check for unclaimed benefits for Apple services on your iPhone and iPad.

Depending on your carrier, you may be offered various free services. These temptations are available to convince you to prefer one operator over another and — depending on your cell phone bill — can provide great savings for users.

For example, Verizon in the US is offering free access to Apple One with Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, and Apple TV+ for certain unlimited plan users. T-Mobile is giving Apple TV+ users the MLS Season Pass and MLB.TV with qualifying plans.

But sometimes it doesn't. It is not clear what benefits you are eligible for or how to check for them first. Here's how to do it right from your iPhone or iPad so you don't miss anything.

How to check free carrier benefits on iPhone and iPad

  1. To get started, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Click on your Apple ID at the top.
  3. Select subscriptions under your Apple ID.
  4. Scroll to at the bottom of the list active and inactive subscriptions to see your carrier's benefits button.
  5. Click “Plan (your carrier) benefits” to view available plan benefits that you have not accepted.

Important! This does not apply to all carriers. If your carrier is not supported, you won't see the plan benefits option.

Plan benefits in settings

In our case, we don't have plan benefits, but if there are, you will see them in the modal and it will guide you through the installation process to take advantage of them.

Operator benefits change over time, so even if you don't have them now, check back regularly so you don't miss out on additional privileges later.
