Google has been talking a lot about RCS and iMessage in recent months, and the iPhone-only solution is top notch as it launches Pixel 7 holiday ads targeted at switches.
Today, as Black Friday sales begin, Google released “4 ways to switch to Pixel easier than ever” Today. The blog post is specifically for people “who are considering a Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro as a gift [to themselves] or someone else, but switching from iOS to Pixel feels more like a chore than a gift.” 8221; Apple did something similar ahead of the iPhone 14.
Google is tackling problems in four ways, focusing on gifts differently than in years past when it dealt directly with the customer.
All you need to do is connect this old phone to your Pixel 7, and then the data you choose, such as contacts, photos, and messages, will be transferred. And the whole process takes about 30 minutes on average!
The main argument for potential 7 and 7 Pro buyers and givers is that “Your Pixel can send and receive messages with all other Android and iPhone devices.” however, Google notes recent efforts such as support for iMessage reactions in the Messages app.
We recommend deregistering your phone number from iMessage when you go to make sure iMessage doesn't intercept your messages.

< p>In the meantime, the company refers to privacy.apple.com when migrating from iCloud Photos to Google Photos. This means that Google accounts offer 15 GB of storage – or “three times more than you can use.” — in a quip about iCloud sticking to 5GB after all these years.
