Apple today began accepting pre-orders for the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and delivery dates for the devices on the Apple online store are already starting to move toward November for many configurations.
As of 7:15 a.m. PT in the US, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be looking up online delivery estimates for some configurations – Apple store is 6-7 weeks, while some iPhone 15 Pro models face a delay of up to 2-3 weeks. The cheaper iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are still available for launch day delivery.
Inventory will inevitably dwindle as the day progresses for both delivery and Apple Store pickup, so order quickly if you plan to do so.
As is typical when iPhone pre-orders begin, some customers have encountered errors when trying to place orders on Apple's website or Apple Store app amid growing demand. The issues will likely be resolved within a day.
iPhone 15 Pro models have several new features, including a USB-C port, a lightweight titanium frame, a customizable action button, a faster A17 Pro chip manufactured using a 3nm process technology. , 5x optical zoom on the Pro Max model, thinner bezels around the screen, support for Wi-Fi 6E, increased RAM (8 GB) and much more.
The devices will go on sale and begin to arrive in sale. customers on Friday, September 22.
