Emergency SOS on iPhone 14 lineup via satellite and Find My via satellite will launch in four additional countries next month, Apple announced today.
The press release states that Emergency SOS and Find My via satellite for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models will be released later today, Apple mentioned that the feature will arrive in France, Germany, Ireland, and the UK in December after the service debuts in North America. In September, a report claimed that Apple would launch emergency SOS via satellite in more countries before the end of 2022, and in more regions next year.
The feature will be officially launched later today for iPhone 14 iOS 16.1 users in the US and Canada only. The service is provided free of charge for two years from the date of activation of the new iPhone 14 Model.
