This week, Belkin announced the release of a new AirPods cleaning kit designed to remove wax and dirt from your headphones to restore acoustic performance.
The kit is designed for AirPods 1, 2, and 3 models as these The earbuds do not have silicone tips to protect them from the effects of wax in your ears.
Belkin Kit includes cleaning brush, wax softener solution, cleaning gel and microfiber cloth. This appears to be a one-time use kit as the cleaning ingredients are supplied in small quantities and specifically the cleaning gel states to use it within two hours of opening.
According to information. Belkin, wax, and dirt can affect sound quality, and the kit can remove up to 99 percent of AirPods clogging materials. The cleaning components are designed to be mess-free and Belkin claims they won't damage AirPods.
