In June, Apple launched its annual “Back to School” promotion for college students in the United States. This year, students are offered a free Apple Gift Card with the purchase of an eligible Mac or iPad from Apple, as well as a 20% discount on AppleCare+ plans.
In the US and Canada, the promotion ends on October 2, so time is running out to take advantage of the offer if you are a student. In the UK and some other European countries, the promotion ends in a few weeks, on October 23.
In the US, Apple is offering the following:
- $150 Apple Gift Card with any new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or iMac
- $100 Apple Gift Card with any new iPad Pro, iPad Air or Mac mini
The gift card can be used to purchase Apple products and accessories, App Store apps, subscriptions to services such as Apple Music, iCloud+ storage, etc.
Offer available in Apple's online education store and in Apple Stores for students attending or accepted to higher education institutions, higher education institutions faculty and staff, parents making purchases on behalf of an eligible student, employees of K-12 educational institutions. and select others.
