Apple wins four BAFTA Children & Young People Awards for Children's Content for Apple TV+.
This award was recognized by the first British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Apple Children & The youth are winning. El Deafo won the Content for Change award. According to the BAFTA website, the “Content for Change” category was added in 2018 and recognizes content that goes beyond entertainment and addresses issues with “very real implications”.
Wolfwalkers won in the Feature Films category, and Lovely Little Farm won in the Preschool category — Category “Live action”.
Finally, Chris O'Dowd has been honored with a BAFTA for his performance in Here We Are: Notes on Life on Planet Earth.
While this is Apple's first BAFTA win in children's programming, the tech giant has been honored by the organization for other programs. Most recently, he has won two BAFTAs for the documentaries 9/11 and 1971.
