Apple wants to hire more people to work on artificial intelligence in the UK, CEO Tim Cook said today (via BBC News).

The decision to hire more employees appears to contrast with mass layoffs at major tech companies. Yesterday it became known that Epic Games is laying off more than 800 employees.
