All three iWork apps have added support for the USDZ format, which Apple says brings a “new dimension” to users' documents and presentations “with 3D objects.” Pages then got a new minimalist report template, “with elegant typography, colors and layout.”
The word processor has also added a new paragraph style that includes new border options. And charts imported from Microsoft Office into Pages or Numbers will no longer have outer borders.
These Microsoft Office borders are also removed from diagrams imported into the Keynote presentation application. But otherwise, Keynote focuses on animation, particularly support for the USDZ format.
Apple says Keynote users can “play built-in animations in USDZ files or use Magic Move to animate 3D objects on slides.
The new updates to version 13.2 simultaneously released versions of three iWorks apps for Mac and iPad in the App Store.
New versions of iWork apps require macOS Ventura 13.0, iOS 16.0, or iPadOS 16.0 or later.
