At its October Scary Fast event, Apple announced a new Space Black color for the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the M3 Pro and M3 Max processors.
Apple calls the new MacBook Pro in Space Black a “gorgeous, dark aluminum finish with a revolutionary anodizing process.” which is fingerprint resistant.” The body is made from a special alloy that uses 100% recycled aluminum and is described as “highly durable.”
The M3 Pro and M3 Max are also available in silver, and the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 is available in Silver and Space Gray, but not Space Black.
14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro start at $1,999 and $2,499, respectively , while the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro costs $1,999 and $2,499 respectively. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max starts at $3,199 and $3,499, respectively. MacBook Pro models with the M3 Pro chip will be available for pre-order starting next week, and models with the M3 Max chip will be available for pre-order later in November.
