Following reports of Apple collecting App Store data, a lawsuit arose alleging that the company was intentionally violating user privacy and monetizing user data without permission.Plaintiff Elliot Liebman has filed what he hopes is a class action lawsuit against Apple. The lawsuit alleges that because Apple has some knowledge of what the user is browsing on the App Store, it violates the user's right to privacy. , collects and monetizes analytics data, including browsing history and activity information, regardless of what security measures or “privacy settings” consumers take to protect their privacy.”
