Apple Announces Deadlines for Ordering Holiday GiftsThursday, November 17, 2022 7:13 AM PST by Eric Slivka
In addition to announcing the Black Friday promotion, Apple today also released guidance on shipping for the holidays in the US and other countries, which outlines deadlines for customers wishing to order gifts on arrival by December 24th.
As we noted yesterday, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro The Max has already missed Christmas in the US after Apple issued a shipping warning for these models. Manufacturing iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max's work is hampered due to COVID-19 restrictions at the Foxconn factory where the devices are primarily assembled.
Currently, all other major Apple products are still available for Christmas delivery, with the earliest possible dates on in the US on November 30 for iPad mini and 3rd generation AirPods.
Customers wishing to order AirTags must do so by December 9 if they want engraving, or by December 14 without engraving, while most others are expected to be available for order until December 21st and arrive just in time for Christmas. Customers in regions where Apple Stores are located can even order in-store pickup or two-hour delivery as early as Christmas Eve.
Apple may update the timings on this page in the coming weeks as we evaluate. Product availability, so it's worth keeping an eye on it and ensuring you order enough time to get your items on time for the holidays.
Apple's extended return policy is now in effect, allowing purchases in most countries from November 4th to December 25 can be returned until January 8, 2023. In some countries, the return period for items purchased between November 4 and January 6 may be extended until January 20, 2023.
