Apple released the third beta of the upcoming watchOS 9.2 update to developers today for testing purposes, and the new beta – the version will be released one week after the launch of the second beta version of watchOS 9.2.
In order to install the new watchOS 9.2 update, developers need to download the configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center.
Once installed, watchOS 9.2 can be downloaded via a dedicated Apple app Watch on iPhone by selecting General > Software update. To update to new software, Apple Watch must have a 50 percent battery charge, be connected to a charger, and be within range of the iPhone with which it is paired.
On watchOS 9.2 introduces support for the new home app architecture, which was also added to iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura. No other features specific to Apple Watch have been discovered yet.
