Apple today submitted the third macOS Ventura 13.1 beta to its public beta group , allowing non-developers to try out new features before releasing software. The public beta releases one week after Apple released the second public beta.
Public beta testers can download the macOS 13.1 Ventura update from the Software Update section of System Preferences after installing the appropriate profile from the website Apple beta software.
macOS Ventura 13.1 introduces the Freeform application developed by Apple for creative collaboration. The app can be used for brainstorming, planning ideas, taking notes, and more. Users can insert drawings, notes, shapes, text boxes, photos, videos, PDFs, links, and more, and Freeform serves as a blank canvas.
Freeform's Boards can be shared with other people. and discussed on FaceTime, with updates from all participants synced to everyone in real time.
