Apple has released iOS 16.1.2 for iPhone only with important security fixes, improved wireless carrier compatibility, and optimized crash detection for the iPhone 14 lineup.

The iOS 16.1.2 update is available for iPhone 8 and later and contains important security fixes that Apple will post on its Security Updates website. Other fixes include improved wireless carrier compatibility and optimizations for crash detection on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.

Users should see a notification about the update, and in most cases it installs automatically overnight. However, if you want the update to install right away, it will need to be initiated manually.
