The next Apple Store in mainland China will open in weeks, and The storefront of the MixC Wenzhou shopping center is decorated with historical local textile printing techniques.

Apple hasn't opened a new store in three months, but that will change in early November. Apple will open an Apple MixC store in Wenzhou on November 4 at 10:00 am local time.

The store will be the 46th in mainland China, Michael Stieber reports, as well as the fourth in Zhejiang province and the first in Wenzhou itself. The Apple retail store will occupy a single-level space on the L1 floor of the shopping center.

Stieber notes that this will be the tenth Apple Store in China to use the MixC prefix, referring to CR's MixC Lifestyle chain of malls across the country.

To promote the store, Apple covered the front opening with a temporary fabric mural, footage of which was taken from a Weibo show. The mural uses an ancient textile printing technique, translated as “blue valerian”, for which Wenzhou is famous.

In addition to the physical fabric mural in the store itself, Apple has released wallpapers for the Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch face. They are all available on the dedicated Apple Store page on Apple's website.
