Apple today released the first beta versions of the upcoming iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 updates to developers for testing purposes. This software will be available one day after the launch of iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1.
Registered developers can Participate in the beta by opening the Settings app, going to Software Update and tapping the Beta Updates option and enable iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 Developer Beta. The Apple ID associated with your developer account is required to download and install the beta.
There's no word yet on what's included in the iOS 17.2 beta, but we're waiting for the Journal app to report Apple. will appear in a later version of iOS 17. We're also still waiting for the ability to use stickers as a response to a reply tap in Messages, an arrow for missed conversations in Messages, and a playlist of favorite songs in Apple Music.
We'll update our article. when we find out what's new in the iOS 17.2 beta.
