Apple hands over second beta versions of iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 to developers

Apple today released the second beta versions of the upcoming iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 updates to developers for testing purposes. The software comes two weeks after Apple released the first beta versions of iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2.


Registered developers can participate in the beta by opening the Settings app, going to Software Update, and tapping the Beta Updates option and turning on the iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 developer beta. To download and Beta installation requires an Apple ID associated with a developer account.

The biggest new feature in iOS 17.2 is the Journal app, which you can use to record your daily activities and thoughts. You can write about your daily life, but Apple also suggests topics based on the music you listen to, the places you visit, and the people you see. Journal entries support images, voice recordings, and location information, and the app is organized by recording date.

Apple Music has a Favorites playlist that stores everything you've favorited, as well as Apple's favorites. support for shared playlists. . You can now share a playlist with multiple people, and each member can add songs.

Stickers can now be used to reply to iMessages when you long press the chat bubble in the Messages app, and there are now Support for ultra-secure iMessage contact key verification option. If you have an iPhone 15 Pro, the Action button supports the Translate feature in iOS 17.2, and there are new Weather and Clock widgets.
