Apple is preparing for its special “Scary Fast” event on Monday night by sending select influencers a gift basket that includes a pair of AirPods Max.
Apple's “Scary Fast” presentation will be unusual for the company, as it will take place in the evening, and not during the day. Although there won't be an in-person gathering at Apple Park, Apple is still trying to promote the event through influencers.
Gift boxes were sent to online personalities, including Lamarr Wilson, as noted by 9to5Mac, with an invitation “join an online viewing party.” The box contains a note from Apple, as well as an assortment of items, including a pair of AirPods Max.
Apple says AirPods Max are included to “make your viewing experience a little more spatial,” and the event itself will apparently be “Experienced in Spatial Audio.”
The box also contains a drink, as well as a selection of Halloween-themed sweets and confections.
The event will take place at 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET. It will be available to watch via the Apple TV app, YouTube and the Apple website. It's expected to feature mostly new Macs, with the top launch candidates being the refreshed 24-inch iMac and new M3 chips running Apple Silicon.
