Apple and Major League Soccer Launch MLS Season Pass February 2023 Wednesday, November 16, 2022 9:10 AM PST Julie Clover new subscription service available to fans in over 100 countries and regions. Available on the Apple TV app, the MLS Season Pass is available on Apple devices, Smart TVs, consoles, set-top boxes, and online at tv.apple.com.
Season Pass will include all live MLS regular season, playoff and League Cup matches, no shutdowns. Apple says the MLS Season Pass will bring MLS to a much wider global audience.
“There is no better time to introduce the MLS Season Pass, breaking away from the most dramatic MLS Cup in history and with MLS as the most fastest growing football league in the world,” said Eddie Cue, Apple's senior vice president of services. “We're counting down the days until February 2023, when fans around the world will be able to enjoy the MLS Season Pass on billions of devices – all without power outages.”
Apple and Major League Soccer sign a deal on 10 years of partnership. All 29 MLS clubs will have Apple TV a patch of a different color as a sign of consent.
The 2023 MLS regular season kicks off on February 25, with 2022 MLS Cup champions Los Angeles taking on the LA Galaxy at the Rose Bowl. All matches of the first weekend will be free to watch on Apple TV application.
