Apple has partnered with Anytime Fitness to offer members a free Apple Fitness+ subscription and integrated experience.
Anytime Fitness is a company with thousands of locations around the world offering personalized fitness programs and access to real trainers. Clients who join the gym receive 24/7 access to the Anytime Fitness location, as well as video calls with trainers and more.
Anytime Fitness partners with Apple Fitness+ to provide a collaborative fitness experience. The partnership was announced by AnyTime Fitness and first reported by 9to5Mac.
“Since the introduction of Apple Fitness+, we've always envisioned that users can enjoy it anytime, anywhere, whether at home or at the gym, which is why we're so excited to offer our users and Anytime Fitness members this unrivaled experience that brings together the best of digital and physical fitness,” Jay Blahnik, Apple's vice president of fitness technology, said in a statement. “Apple Fitness+ was designed to be welcoming to everyone, no matter where they are in their fitness journey, so, whether members are looking for an addition to their workouts through Anytime Fitness or guidance on how to start their fitness journey at the gym, there's something here for everyone.”
Integration with Anytime Fitness goes beyond the free subscription on Apple Fitness+. Fitness+ content will appear in the Anytime Fitness app, and personal trainers will be able to recommend the content to the member.
The promotion is available to customers in the US and Canada only and begins December 1st. Existing Apple Fitness+ members can get one month of Anytime Fitness free with a 13-month membership.
Free Fitness+ membership is available in phases every three months. Anytime Fitness members will need to reactivate the offer every three months for free access, otherwise they will be charged $9.99 per month on the card they have on file with their Apple ID.
Apple One Premier subscribers who already sign up for Apple Fitness+ can get a free month of Anytime Fitness, but otherwise won't receive any financial benefits. However, they can still benefit from having Fitness+ content in the Anytime Fitness app.
Anytime fitness plans vary by location, but typically cost around $45 per month. An included Apple Fitness+ subscription costs $9.99 per month.
